This is Lucy on the right and Chester on the left. Lucy is Rocky's mum, a lovely Berner and the first Berner I ever met. Chester is Rocky's brother, an extremely handsome chap but a bit naughty. We found him in our lane yesterday, not where he should be at all, so we opened the boot of the car, he jumped in and we took him back to his anxious owner. Bad lad.

We had some news yesterday about Fizz, poor girl had ripped some tendons in her leg and this went infected. Seems like the vet didn't do a good job and its only thanks to the TLC from her owner Liz that she is getting better. She needs to get better soon as she is starring an a play about Adrian Mole, Fizz plays the part of a German Shepherd. That will be worthy of a few photos!

Take a Berner to water

Its rained almost non stop here for 24 hours, the wheelbarrow shows how much rain has fallen at Rock HQ. As the Dolyhir clan take a quick drink from the oversize water bowl we are trying to get jobs done in between downpours. Its not unusual for the Berners to ignore their water bowl and drink from strange places, yesterday they were queueing up to drink from a muddy puddle caused by digging out the base of a new path around the stables.
