Bookend Berners
Owners of Bernese Mountain Dogs soon discover that one just isn't enough!
This is Reba and Rocky the proud parents of the Dolyhir Clan trying to convince the husband of the very nice lady pictured that looking after one of their offspring would be the best thing he ever did. She is already convinced that they should have one, or two.

What a stunner!
This is Brooke, previously know as Mooney, a lovely photograph sent by her very happy new owners. I say they are very happy as I am not with them at 4.45am when Brooke wakes up and starts howling for breakfast, so apart from that overall they are happy. Seems like Brooke is still running on smallholder body clock!

Spot and Mooney
This is the last picture of the two of them together, Mooney went to live with another family today. This leaves Spot as the only one of the litter left without a new home to got to but as he's a real charmer I don't think it will be very long before he finds the right home.
And then there was one!
Another family called in today to collect a puppy, they chose Mooney despite Spot's best efforts to win them over. They also brought their own dog over who can be seen above checking out the facilities at Rock HQ!

Fizz
Fizz
We said goodbye to three of the puppies today, their new owners braved the hot weather and bank holiday traffic to collect their new charges. It was strange passing over the responsibility of these wonderful pups to their new owners but we remembered how excited we were when we got our first Berner so we were happy for the families recieving them.
They were all very nice people and we hope they get as much joy from their new dogs as we get from ours.
This site is linked to Tales From The Rock and will be used, we hope, by the new owners and ourselves to keep each other updated as to the progress of the Dolyhir Bernese Mountain Dogs.
