Of course I'm clean enough to go back into the cottage, you got covers on the sofa anyway!

Look at these fantastic Christmas tree decorations made for us by Nikki, Buddy's owner. Cut from wood and then pyrographed and painted these will look amazing on our tree next to the Berner Baubles. Hand made by Nikki, what a talented and kind lady!

Model Family

There we were walking around the farmers superstore which sold everything from full size tractors to their toy equivalents when we happened across this set of dogs in the plastic farm animals section. Larger than Britain's these Schleich plastic models are anatomically correct (the standing dog is definitely a dog!) too expensive for kids toys and look better in real life than the above photo. So they are now at Rock HQ, bit of an impulse buy, ready for when the apprentice smallholder can play toy farms. Meanwhile I am dusting off my anorak as I sense there are lots of these animals to collect!

Not that you can tell, heres Bella, a lovely couple of pics sent by Hayley her owner showing how hard it it to be a Bernese.

Busy day for Berners at Rock HQ. Chester and Lucy went home, at the same time Elsa arrived to rekindle her relationship with Rocky. Currently they are in the kitchen, its a bit hectic in there but nothing much has happened, Elsa keeps sitting.

We also got a lovely surprise in the post from Buddy's owner Nikki, so pics tomorrow, prepare to be amazed!

We are planning our own Berner event for 2012, a GeoCache type Bernese treasure hunt with a small prize for most points collected on a trail over and around the Bonsai Mountain. There will even be a cart trail. All for charity, mostly for fun and a Bar B Q afterwards. Probably after the OTT walk which is scheduled for June.
