Harvey is starting to look like he lives here, the four hours he spent in the dog grooming parlour before he got here are hidden by pond slime. He is a quick learner!

HPD arrived today, Harvey Puppy Dog is here while his folks are on their hols. After sitting in the conservatory hoping they would return he went for a walk and met the sheep, the goats, Hetty, the pigs and the Dolyhir Clan. Suitably overwhelmed he is now on the sofa awaiting therapy.

Isle of Berners

Nessa is on the Isle of Man and looking in great shape, Steve and Jo are coming over to the mainland in a few weeks so hopefully we will meet up and reunite part of the Dolyhir clan with the Manx Clan.

Mad for it!

The boys and girls are being kept separate as Reba is in season. Rocky, fresh from his Buster Bloodvessel impression has surpassed that trick by chewing the inside off the stable door where he had been shut for half an hour to cool off, then he tried to open the door to the annex, not by the handle (but he has learned to do that) but by biting chunks out of the door frame, and tonight's trick was heralded by the crash of glass and crockery as he leapt out of the dining room window as the girls and I were playing ball in the garden.

Friends for life

Here's a shot of Harry and Reuben who have become great friends over the last week or so, Reuben's been a bit quiet since Harry left, mainly because he has slept all day!

Friends reunited

This short clip shows a very happy Harry greeting his owner, Brian, who called to collect him today after a short break in the sun. As you can see from the looks on both their faces they were very pleased to see each other and Brian was convinced that Harry had grown in the time he had been here. Rock HQ is a bit quieter without Harry, he and Reuben played non stop, ran each other ragged and ad a competition over who could be the most disgusting with a dead rabbit gifted to them by the cats. In all Harry enjoyed his stay but was glad to be going home, Reuben enjoyed having him here but as he is the only puppy here he is now back to his favourite spot, the centre of attention. We have HPD, or Harvey Puppy Dog coming to stay on wednesday so it wont be quiet for long, if ever it can be quiet with 7 Berners wandering around!
