Spotty has been helping us today as the wood was cleared from the slopes of Oak Bank ready for the new pig pen enclosure.

Having a dog this size with a fascination for massive pieces of wood is sometimes useful, more often he's a hindrance as he drops them in the lane.

We said goodbye to Biffer today, he was a joy to have here and the mischief he and Reuben got up to will keep us entertained for a while yet. Reuben is sulking now his playmate has gone. A big thank you to Alison for letting him have his holiday here, and an even bigger thank you for the nice bottle of port they gave us.
