Steve and Jo came to collect their puppy today. It was very hard to say goodbye to this little monster but she has left her mark on Rock HQ, on our hearts and quite a few pairs of shoes, assorted hardback books, a telephone cable, the stairs and a couple of magazines that she thought were better read in pieces.
Nessa will be the only Berner on the Isle of Man, unless you know different, and we are really pleased she is going to such a nice couple. Her new life will include a Cocker Spaniel and all the beaches of the island to play on.
Steve and Jo are planning a holiday on the mainland in a few months so we are hoping to catch up with them and see how Nessa is doing. They are planning an IoM Berner website so Berner fans will have another site to look at. The Dolyhir site is just about to go through a major revamp with new pages, gallery, blog and Berner contact pages, so exciting times ahead. There is also going to be an addition to the Berner clan very soon, so watch this space.
It was upsetting to say goodbye tonight to little Nessa. We might have lost our last pup but we have made two new friends.
