The new website has already generated interest in the best dogs ever, a nice lady from Ireland called today to tell us about her two Berners, and how things are different here as on the continent Berners are quite common and easy to buy whereas in the UK the Berner is an unusual dog and hard to find. In Germany, where she was born, Berners even turn up in dogs homes for re homing! They do here in the UK but are rarer than rocking horse eggs. In the last three years we have only known of two, a brother and sister pair abandoned at a rescue centre.
