Running the gauntlet!
Last time we unloaded the animal feed we had little Misty as quality controller, sampling every bucket.
Today I made sure she, and any other beast with hooves was well away from the process.
What I didn't count on was the Berners who have developed a taste for the pig feed and followed every bucket grabbing mouthfuls.

Run!
Spotty, as usual at full speed, can't help thinking he has the theme tune to mission impossible in his head all the time.

Watching me.....
The glorious sunshine prompted an expedition up to five ways crossing. The Berners used this as an opportunity to have a huge rough and tumble and raced around in the sunshine. They eventually discovered I was not as fast as they were and sat patiently in the gully, watching me.
Some innate herd memory stirred in my walking companion. He knew an ambush when he saw one.

Little and Large
Look at these outstanding pictures sent to us by the proud owners of Truffle, the tall one and Maia the small one. Maia is a puppy from Rocky and Sally's litter, they already had Truffle, but as Berner owners know Bernese Mountain Dogs are like Belgian Chocolates, one is never enough.
Little and Large here above, this is a beautiful shot and shows just what we love about Berners, they always get on and look after each other. This little pup, only a day with its new family knows it will be loved and looked after.
Well marked, good looking, just like her Dad!
