Rocky's Highland Adventure

Day one, after 500 miles sat in a very small space amongst the rations for 12 people in the back of a Land Rover Discovery, Rocky gets his first glimpse of the Highland weather and landscape.

Being a mountain dog has its advantages, double thick coat kept him dry, large paws meant he did not sink in the bogs.
His instinct to shepherd the group came to the fore and he went along the line making sure we were all OK, a real morale booster.
Finally we headed down from the mountain to our quarters, first night in a shed.

Where he slept

and slept! Not the bag placed against the door to stop the wind blowing it open!
