Preparation is the key

Preparation is the key to success, so the saying goes, and as we have two Berners entered into a show this weekend the grooming begins! The mess in the conservatory is off two dogs, Rocky and Reuben, yes this is just the fur brushed out of their coats. True to form its chucking it down with rain turning our drought ridden patch into a passable impression of a 1914 Flanders field, and true to form after three or four hours grooming they both dived in the pond. Bless.

    Good luck Daddy. I know how you feel, it takes human mummy ages to get me ready for a show and there is always loads of fur on the floor at the end of it all. Worth it when I get a red rossette and a bag of food.
