Picnic guardian
We couldn't get to a Berner meet today as we had to stay within shouting distance of Rock HQ so instead we had a small picnic which was protected by a large dog.

A weeks a long time!
We have had a lovely email from Mr Bo Jangles (the coolest name ever!) saying how happy he is and that it seems like his folks haven't laughed so much for a long time, he's mischievous but
always welcoming with his little tail wagging, he's a very happy little chap,
even on a rain sodden days like to-day he remains full of life and bounces
around the garden taking shelter under Japanese Maple tree where he seems to have built a den. In all he's had a great week and so has his owners.
Good news on Ms Odage, or Winnie, we were worried that she wasn't very well after a silly vet (you know the type, keen, bored with hamsters with eating disorders, eager to prove themself, town vet, not like ours, country vets who are used to dealing with animals with real problems like a fence post stuck through a paw or a cow with a plastic chair on its head, yes ours again) any way said vet diagnosed heart trouble and forecast death, open heart surgery, life in a wheel chair and nothing but sadness for the owners. This after a quick dab with a stethoscope and no consideration given to the pups having traveled across the country, moved in to a new home and having left its family, well given that my heart might have beat a bit different. Thankfully they had the wherewithal to have a MRI scan and surprise surprise have a very happy healthy pup with no life threatening problems. We hope to see Winnie at the Berner Treasure Hunt next year and I have no doubt she will be one of the first up to the summit of the mountain.

I'll find my way home
One third of the Dolyhir Clan went on early doors maneuvers on the Bonsai Mountain this morning
the thick fog, or low cloud, made it more fun than usual
this is Elf looking for a way off the top of The North Face Gully
Viz was not good, I knew the way but the Berners were locationally challenged.
Quick breather for Reuben and WooZah
Hes on his own
Spotty comes back and
summons Elf and WooZah back again
and as they ignore him hes off to fetch them back
Again take 5 while they sort the route card out
Laughing at Reuben trying to do a quiet dump. Poppy the pathetic triever non Berner clan member joins us.
Spotty and WooZah
Reuben and Elf
Elf and Spotty. Not lost.
Poppy posing.
Defo this way follow me
Tails up follow the leader
WooZah shows the way
Home is somewhere down there in the clouds.

Pups have got new toys, heres Misha (Ms White) sampling some
and most have new friends, heres Abbie with her playmate Ruby.
All have had a huge welcome from their forever families, heres Oscar (Mr Green) at his welcome home bar b que.

A bit of a house full!
Ms Yellow got off to a good start today with a quick bath
so she was nice and clean to meet her forever family. We had a bit of a house full with up to 9 clan members in the lounge
Bliss found it all a bit tiring, Reuben lapped up the fuss as usual
Heres Ms Yellow getting to know her new family
and so we say goodbye to Ms Yellow who travels up north with Mr Mike and Ms Carol. We hope to see them in the future, and as there are so many Dolyhir Berners up North why not arrange a meet?
