A weeks a long time!

We have had a lovely email from Mr Bo Jangles (the coolest name ever!) saying how happy he is and that it seems like his folks haven't laughed so much for a long time, he's mischievous but always welcoming with his little tail wagging, he's a very happy little chap, even on a rain sodden days like to-day he remains full of life and bounces around the garden taking shelter under  Japanese Maple tree where he seems to have built a den. In all he's had a great week and so has his owners.

Good news on Ms Odage, or Winnie, we were worried that she wasn't very well after a silly vet (you know the type, keen, bored with hamsters with eating disorders, eager to prove themself,  town vet, not like ours, country vets who are used to dealing with animals with real problems like a fence post stuck through a paw or a cow with a plastic chair on its head, yes ours again) any way said vet diagnosed heart trouble and forecast death, open heart surgery, life in a wheel chair and nothing but sadness for the owners. This after a quick dab with a stethoscope and no consideration given to the pups having traveled across the country, moved in to a new home and having left its family, well given that my heart might have beat a bit different. Thankfully they had the wherewithal to have a MRI scan and surprise surprise have a very happy healthy pup with no life threatening problems. We hope to see Winnie at the Berner Treasure Hunt next year and I have no doubt she will be one of the first up to the summit of the mountain.
